Cookie Skillet

IMG_1384.JPG

Either find your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe and set aside a batch or buy a tub of Nestle cookie dough from your grocery store. Both work perfectly! Make sure you use an oven SAFE skillet (no rubber or plastic on it!)! The amounts of dough and filling/toppings depend on the size of your skillet.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch chocolate chip cookie dough

  • vanilla ice cream

  • filling- mini marshmallows, Twix bars (broken up)

  • topping- a few large or mini marshmallows, drizzle of Nutella

  • butter or spray, to grease pan

  • Oven safe skillet

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Using an oven safe skillet, grease pan with butter.

  3. Start pressing an even thin layer of cookie dough over the entire bottom of the skillet.

  4. Lay cut up Twix and some mini marshmallows over the bottom layer of cookie dough.

  5. Roll out a thin layer of cookie dough big enough to lay over the top, making sure it covers everything completely, pinch edges.

  6. Add your toppings, drizzle Nutella and lay a few marshmallows over top.

  7. Cook for 25 minutes, keep an eye on the timing. If your skillet is large it may take a little longer.

  8. Carefully remove skillet from oven, let cool just a little, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
